What Do You Truly Want... And Have You Given Yourself Permission to Have It?

What do you truly want in your life... right now?

Not a year from now.

Not after you've accomplished one more goal.

Not after you've healed one more part of yourself.

Right now.

Pause for a moment before you answer.

Notice what quietly comes to mind before your thoughts begin explaining why it can't happen or why it should wait.

There is something within each of us that already knows.

Now I'd like to ask you another question.

Have you given yourself permission to have it?

Not permission from your family.

Not permission from your circumstances.

Not permission from the world.

Have you given yourself permission?

Many of us spend years focusing on how to create what we desire while never realizing we haven't fully welcomed the possibility of receiving it.

We admire it.

We dream about it.

We work toward it.

Yet somewhere within us, a quiet voice still whispers:

"That's probably not for me."

Or...

"Maybe someday."

What if the greatest obstacle isn't the desire itself?

What if it's the absence of permission?

Permission is far more powerful than we often realize.

It softens the pressure to prove ourselves.

It opens a doorway where striving begins to relax.

It invites us into a different relationship with possibility.

Because something remarkable begins to happen when we give ourselves permission.

What once felt distant can begin to feel familiar.

What feels familiar often becomes believable.

And what becomes believable begins to feel available.

Notice that word for a moment.

Available.

Sometimes we don't struggle because what we desire is impossible.

Sometimes we struggle because it doesn't yet feel available to us.

The opportunity may exist.

The relationship may exist.

The peace, abundance, health, or purpose may all exist.

Yet if our nervous system has never experienced them as available, we continue walking past open doors without realizing they're open.

This isn't a failure.

It's simply an invitation to become familiar with a new experience.

Receiving often begins long before anything arrives.

It begins when we become available to what we've quietly been denying ourselves.

So today, I'd like to leave you with two gentle questions.

What do you truly want... right now?

And...

Have you given yourself permission to have it?

You don't need to force an answer.

Simply notice what arises.

Recognition has a beautiful way of changing what feels possible.

Permission is the first threshold.

Believability is the second.

Availability is the third.

And receiving...

Receiving is what naturally follows when all three are welcomed.

May today be a day you allow yourself to become just a little more available to the life already calling your name.
